Halloween also known as All Halloween, All Hollows Eve, All Saints Eve and Samhain. This day celebrates on 31 st of October in various countries and observed by the Western Christians and many non- Christians around the world. Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition and thought to have originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. The Celts who lived 2,000 years ago in the area that is now Ireland the United Kingdom and Northern France Celebrated their new year on November 1. This day marked the end of summer, the harvest and the beginning of the dark, cold winter a time of year that was often associated with human death.

People who celebrates Halloween designed costumes modeled after supernatural figures such as vampires, monsters, ghosts, skeletons, witches and devils. During the Halloween time costumes became more adventurous and Halloween included traditional colors are black and oranges, they were influenced by gothic themes in literature. The best knowledge about the Halloween festival is that Pumpkins and scarecrows are the symbols of Halloween festival. To commemorate this event druids, build huge sacred bonfires and they attend Halloween costume parties, carving pumpkins, apple bobbing and divination games, playing pranks telling scary stories and watching horror films are taking parts of this Hollows eve. The Christians attend church services and lighting candles on the graves of the dead and on this day many Western Christians encourage abstinence from meat and giving rise to a variety of vegetarian foods. Christians would honor saints and pray for souls who have not reached heaven.

In the centuries before people went door-to- door in costume asking for soul cakes exchange for a poem or song. The soul cakes were sweet, with a cross marked on top, when eaten they represented a soul being freed from purgatory. Peoples like to remember the memories of the victories of sincerity and truth on the evil. Halloween is a great festival holiday to center a party around allows us for many opportunities.
